Hi everyone
I have just been for monitoring at the hospital and I'm really pleased as my ESR has dropped from 55 to 39 to 23! I am feeling a lot better - so the tablets must be working!!! I'm taking sulfrasalzine, hydroxchoroquine and diclofenac. I don't feel so tired and I am walking and managing stairs better - long may it last!!! I see the consultant in December and I will now have monitoring once a month instead of every two weeks.
Take care everyone
Debs xx

HI Debs,

Great news for you, hope it goes from strength to strength. There is no better feeling than the one of independance. I am on the triple therapy and that gave me my life back. Keep a diary to monitor things it helps no end. Good Luck and take care Lorna Smile

Hi Debs

Brilliant news. I'm in a similar position myself- isn't it great!!! I'd forgotten what it was like to be able to do things like managing stairs. I went through a phase when I felt I was never going to feel better. Hpeful thing will continu to iprove. I'm also now off the anti inflammatories.

All the best

Brilliant news about feeling better!

Make sure you dont over do it and land in a big flare up... try and pace yourself even when you are feeling well.
